Doria has shared the stage with legendary folk artist Odetta, Janis Ian,
Shawn Mullins, Me’Shell N’degeocello, Angelique Kidjo, Sarah McLachlan,
Sinead O’Connor, Suzanne Vega, The Indigo Girls, Author Alice Walker the late Poet Laureate Gwendolyn Brooks, John Mayer and many others.

“My politics and music are a push for compassion and always have been. It’s not about pointing at someone and saying, ‘You’re wrong,’” she says. “More like, ‘This has been my life experience as a black woman who is lesbian in America. It’s a view you probably don’t hear a lot, and maybe you should take a look at what’s going on outside your backyard.’”

Meet Doria and find out what she is trying to do with her music what

her dreams are. Hear what she has been doing and what her plans are for “The Black Eyed Susans”, “Queerstock” and “Rock for Youth” which are some of the many musical projects she is doing.

(This will not be a concert. If you want to hear her sing don't miss her concert on April 24th at Allhuset at Stockholm University.)
